SAWACO water desalination is the leading supplier of un-bottled potable water for people and businesses in Saudi Arabia. SAWACO operates and maintains its own and third party desalination plants and trucks & trailers fleet. It currently owns and operates more than 30,000 m3 of desalination capacity in addition to a 100 truck-strong fleet carrying water to customers spread over a 10,000 km2 area in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia.

SAWACO is a sea water desalination plant located in North Obhor in Jeddah approximately 45 km away from the city center. The size of the plant area is 14,400 m2 and it is composed of Water Desalination Plant production hall including offices, laboratory , control room, chemicals room, workshop and MCC& Electrical room. Adjacent to the production hall, lies the Power Generation House, Reject and Raw Water Tanks, 10,000 m3 Post Tensioned Reinforced Concrete Product Water Tanks, Water Filling Stations, Dispatch Office and the Guard House.
